INDIANAPOLIS — Subway's celebrated pitchman, ditched as word leaked that he would be pleading guilty to child-sex and -porn charges , will spend at least five years in prison and pay $1.4 million to his victims after striking a deal with federal prosecutors, according to court documents released Wednesday.

Jared Fogle, 37, of Zionsville, Ind., commissioned the executive director of his charity to produce pornography using at least a dozen underage victims, one as young as 6, the charging documents say. Fogle jetted numerous times to New York City to have sex with at least two underage girls.

Fogle first appeared in a Subway ad in 2000 after losing 245 pounds on his famous Subway diet in 1998; he created his nonprofit Jared Foundation to raise awareness about childhood obesity in 2004. And his estimated $15 million net worth accumulated since then is directly attributable to personal appearances and his more than 300 ads for the sandwich-shop franchise, according to

In a federal court appearance Wednesday in Indianapolis, Jared Fogle sat with his head down and hands clasped. He nodded affirmatively and spoke softly in response to questions from U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark Dinsmore asking whether he understood the charges and proceedings.

He is expected to plead guilty at a later date on one count each of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography. He has waived his right to appeal.

For now, he is being placed on home detention with GPS monitoring and is not in jail. The date of his next court appearance has not been set, and the government, which said its investigation is ongoing, reserves the right to present additional evidence when Jared Fogle is sentenced.

Prosecutors agreed to seek a sentence no greater than 12½ years though the judge ultimately will decide how much time Jared Fogle will spend in federal prison. Jared Fogle agreed not to seek a sentence of less than five years, and he will have to register as a sex offender when he leaves prison.

"However, I know that the video has been viewed by students in St Peter's and I have spoken to the school about the lack of dignity and self-respect people have who allow themselves to be portrayed in such a way.

Inspector Andy Matheson, from the force's schools unit, said: "The practice of posting compromising or even pornographic pictures on the internet is something that is happening with increasing frequency nationally. The current proliferation of smart phones enables images to be taken and shared with ease.

"What a lot of people don't realise is that as soon as they share a photograph with someone else, whether by MMS or by posting it on a social networking site, they lose control of that image, and while the image can be deleted, it could easily have been copied by any number of people in the meantime.

"A very common practice among young people at the moment is 'sexting' - the act of sending sexually explicit photographs, primarily between mobile phones. If the subject of the image is under 18 then anyone who makes, possesses or shares the image commits a criminal offence.

"The consequences can be quite devastating for the person concerned. If anybody finds themselves in this situation I would strongly urge them to contact the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, who can offer valuable help and advice."

“I got off work at 5 p.m. and went to pick them up, and they were clearly burned. [The employees] were actually making fun of my older son, because both boys got sunburns but he was being a ‘baby’ and crying about it,” she said.

The next day, Broadway took the boys to Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a third opinion. “Apparently the swelling and pain on his back was so bad that he was having pressure on his chest.”

“It’s been confirmed that no other children were sunburned in this situation,” Floyd continued. “But we’re also looking at videos from the courthouse to see how long kids were left outside, and exhausting all resources to see what happened and hopefully get justice for these boys.”

Last week was kinda slow for me, so I spent a lot of time googling stuff, because that's what human beings do now rather than being constructive. I also spent quite a bit of time talking about drawing dicks and balls on school tables, which my friend calls "schoolboy penises", so we decided to google that phrase to see what the world had to offer in the way of crude genital art. Obviously that's not something you should type anywhere on the internet, but I forgot about that until I'd hit enter.

One of the many hugely disturbing websites that greeted me was , which is essentially made up of violent, sexual headlines about young boys, illustrated with pictures of pre-pubescent boys in sexualised poses, half-naked and occasionally not wearing any pants. It's not technically child porn, but it is really fucked up. And the pairing of headlines about 14-year-old boys' anuses with pictures of 10-year-olds in skimpy Speedos only seems like it's intending to provoke specific thoughts from a specific group of people.

Turns out the guy behind the website – Karl Anderson, a Swedish artist – also publishes a printed version of the website (also called Breaking Boy News ), as well as another magazine featuring slightly older naked boys and manga about older men having unprotected sex with little boys. He's like the Larry Flynt of sexualising children, which totally isn't a good thing. I spoke to him about just what the hell he thinks he's doing.

VICE: Hi, Karl. Can you explain Breaking Boy News to me?
Karl Anderson: An idea came to me one evening: ‘What about making a cheesy news tabloid with boy news only?’ I searched for news stories about stuff like “boy murders” and “boy rapes”, added pictures and wrote smashing headlines. The men at the printers were quite surprised.

I bet. Why did it have to be about little boys?
I have this philosophy of the boy as the essence of humankind. The boy is the one who does all the things we learn later in life not to do. He discovers things, tests limits, helps people, but he also robs, rapes or even murders. And they're cute, of course. Boys are like kittens, it's hard to take your eyes off them.

Where do you get the borderline child porn from to illustrate the articles?
Child porn is a legal term, not a view, and none of my publications contain that. I consider Breaking Boy News an artwork. Even when I did Destroyer , I hardly had any contact with the models directly  – only with the photographers. If there's a red line in my publishing, it's that it deals with fantasies and ideals. Reality is so bland.

Tell me about Destroyer . It features naked photos of pubescent boys, right?
Destroyer was my first self-published project, and it started out of frustration of the current politics of the gay movement, which becomes ever more non-inclusive of the less flattering expressions of homosexuality, most notably male attraction to boys. Destroyer always sold very well and it still does. I counted readers in 37 countries on all continents, even Africa. Breaking Boy News is more of a fun side-project.

Who reads this stuff?
I’d say 99.9 percent of my readers are male. They’re mostly gay men, boy-lovers and artists. A boy-lover is someone who self-identifies as a man who loves boys. He considers it a sexual orientation. I don't personally like the word since it implies that there are people who don't love boys.

After catapulting tweens Elle Fanning, Chloe Moretz and Hailee Steinfeld into style stardom with magazine covers and ad campaigns , the industry turned its attention to 10-year-old Thylane Loubry Blondeau , whose suggestive magazine photos sparked a media maelstrom over how young is too young for girls to look sexy.

Now Fashionista may have found the conversation's next talking point: a French lingerie company aimed at young girls. Called Jours Après Lunes , the brand features bras and panties for girls ages four to twelve (" filles " and " femmes ") and a "loungerie" line for girls ages three months to 36 months (" bebes ").

While the baby stuff is fairly innocuous (think cute diaper covers and onesies), the items intended for " filles " and " femmes " are more questionable. The strappy pink bra tops and matching tulle-trimmed bra and panty sets are modeled by very young girls, their hair teased up and cheeks covered in rouge.

With grown-up styling and poses, are the young models in Jours Après Lunes' product shots just cute filles romping around in their undies? Or are these little girls parroting the sexy looks of women twice their age?

Judge David Tremberg told the teenager: "You developed an obsession with pornography, which you felt allowed you somehow to make up for your feelings of low self-esteem and gain a bit of control over your life.

Even though teenage boys consume more pornography and think about it more often, a new study that interviewed 800 Swedish 16-year-olds discovered that teen boys and girls fantasize about the same things. Not only that, but teenage girls are more interested in pornography than conventional thinking leads us to believe.

Based on the findings, there are no differences between the number of teen males and females who say their sexual behavior is influenced by pornography in a big way (which, might not be a good thing ). Unsurprisingly the teens that do watch pornography have more favorable attitudes towards it in general.

But get this: more than every 10th female who reported watching porn said they watch it less than they’d like. And, the females in the study were more experienced than the boys in oral, anal, and vaginal sex. However, the genders were equally likely to partake in one-night-stands, group sex and buddy-sex. Unfortunately, traditional stereotypes still existed, and teens were more likely to agree to that it’s alright for guys to have more sexual partners than the other way around.

But despite that, the teens in the study who were sexually active did hold the perception that males and females are equally interested in sex. And that’s a pretty non-traditional view, and as the researchers conclude, a positive attitude for gender equality.

RICHMOND, Va. — A Virginia man will spend the next 15 years in prison after he pretended to be a young girl and convinced a 13-year-old boy to send him pornographic photos. Justin Fox, 31, of Stafford, had previously pleaded guilty to attempted production of child pornography.

“Fox admitted he engaged in online messaging with a 13-year-old boy. During those conversations, Fox portrayed himself as a young female and asked the boy to create and send child pornography via online messenger,” a U.S. Department of Justice spokesperson said. “After the boy sent pornographic images to Fox, Fox continued to ask for more, calling the boy his slave.”

Shirtless and clothed only in a pair of tight denim shorts, the video features the young boy dancing like Miley Cyrus at the MTV music video awards while RuPaul's song "Sissy That Walk" plays in the background amidst the cheers of LGBT drag queens. The most jaw-dropping moment comes when the boy drops his groin to the ground and begins humping the asphalt.

At one moment in the video, which has yet to receive attention by most commentators, an adult male wearing a sparkly rainbow shirt appears to step forward attempting to either touch or dance with the boy and is held back by a woman close by.

Notable homosexualist publications like Gay Star News and Pink News have attempted to downplay the video by engaging in ad hominem attacks, saying the video was posted by white supremacists looking to raise homophobia. By gleaning through the comments on Youtube, they culled the few nutjob trolls spouting anti-semitism while shouting "death to f*gg*ts" to somehow discredit a video that clearly shows the perversity present at many LGBT pride events across the world.

"It is, however, where we are headed as a nation," said Barber. "The sexual anarchist agenda steamrolls ahead and children are in the cross-hairs. The organized 'LGBT' lobby has long lusted for the abolition of all age of consent laws. While not all 'gays' are child abusers, pederasty has been a central aspect of the homosexual lifestyle since the days of the Greek bathhouse."

The account came from the first witness to testify in the preliminary  hearing Tuesday for John David Yoder, 43, of Desert Hot Springs, who is accused, with  two alleged accomplices, of molestation and producing child porn.

The hearing at the Larson Justice Center in Indio offered the first  glimpse into the evidence amassed by prosecutors, who hope to convince a judge  that there is probable cause to order Yoder to stand trial on charges of human  trafficking of a minor, aggravated sexual assault of a child by force,  conspiracy, lewd acts on a child under 14 and aiding a felon to avoid arrest.

Court papers allege Yoder, who faces 35 years to life behind bars if  convicted, and his co-defendants operated a child porn ring that targeted  multiple children and was in existence for at least three years. They allegedly  lured boys away from Riverside County parks, sometimes by offering to help them  become child models.

Co-defendant Erick Monsivais, 24 of Los Angeles, is scheduled to appear  in court again next month. A third alleged accomplice, William Clyde Thompson,  54, of Las Vegas, remains in federal custody in Nevada.

Yoder's preliminary hearing had been expected to take about four hours.   But the first witness was on the stand nearly the entire day and, because of  scheduling conflicts involving the judge and witnesses, the proceeding will not  resume until March 23.

Yoder would often kiss or caress the boy in a romantic way, and  encouraged him when he would run around the house naked, a practice the boy  called ``Batman mode,'' the witness said.

``You said David treated (the boy) like a partner. What do you mean by  that?'' Deputy District Attorney William Robinson asked the witness.   ``Boyfriend,'' he responded.

On one occasion, the witness said he went to the kitchen for something  to drink and saw Yoder and the boy on the living room recliners clad only in  their underwear. The boy's underwear was pulled down to his thighs and the  witness said he watched Yoder put his head in the boy's groin area to retrieve  a Pringle's potato chip that had been placed there.

A coven of Ivy and Seven Sisters alumnae got together in Columbia University's Butler Library late one Saturday night last November with a mission: to explore "the rituals of American Ivy League secret societies, to the point of hysteria, highlighting our culture's perception of female desire."

The result was the NSFW video above, "Initiatiøn," a wild three-minute romp involving a riding crop, milk, ground twerking, a blue chicken carcass, broken eggs, and lots of boobies, set to creepy choral music that gives the film a feel reminiscent of "the season finale of American Horror Story," according to one Gawker colleague.

The film is the work of Slutever blogger and Vogue contributor Karley Sciortino and Coco Young, a Columbia undergrad who lists Roman Polanski among her inspirations. Young told IvyGate Blog that the film was an intense meditation:

While Young has "never experienced a sorority or fraternity," she is intrigued by them, and this video is a projection of that fascination. Moreover, of course, it is a feminist statement, meant to "showcase the ultimate hysteria state ," and speak to the stigmatization and fetishization of women.

A weird gender tension, okay; but "Initiatiøn" is a weirdly conventional reaction to that tension. It's not the first attempt to play with sex rites in an Ivy League school's stacks . And its imagery is familiar to anyone who's ever seen Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut , or the photographs of Francesca Woodman , or Carolee Schneeman's 1964 art film "Meat Joy":

IONIA, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Ionia say a teen tricked other juveniles into sending inappropriate photos of themselves by posing as a girl — a case they say should serve as a warning for parents about watching their kids’ online behavior.

Ionia DPS Detective Sgt. Cory McDiarmid has been investigating since November. After serving search warrants to Facebook, Internet service providers and cellphone companies, he learned that the situation had snowballed.

Police say if one of the victims had not come forward, they may have had a more difficult time getting to the bottom of the case. They say they have found and talked to the teen who was posing as Danielle.

Some 24 percent of British teenagers have had nude images published online without their consent, according to  a new study from the Ditch the Label anti-bullying group, which asked hundreds of young people about their experiences with cyber-bullying in the smartphone age.

The range of reactions among these people whose images were shared ran the expected gambit: 26 percent reported suicidal thoughts, 12 percent tried to kill themselves, and 5 percent left school or college. Some had positive reactions -- a few reported feeling more attractive or confident after their images were shared -- but the vast majority of them were distraught by the invasion of privacy.

The non-consensual publication of nude images has had similar effects in the United States. A 15-year-old girl from California committed suicide after she was sexually assaulted at a party and images taken during that assault were shared. Another from Steubenville, Ohio was harassed after images of her alleged rape were shared on a variety of social services, like Instagram.

But the images aren't always taken without their subjects' consent. Some are posted as what's often labeled "revenge porn," after the subject sent them deliberately to their significant other and later ended the relationship. The result of such privacy invasion is quite similar: the Huffington Post collected a series of (obviously unverified) stories about revenge porn's ramifications posted to Reddit, and many of them aren't "empowering" at all.

Some states have started criminalizing revenge porn. Ditch the Label recommends that the British government do the same, or at least make the laws concerning the non-consensual publication of someone's nude photos more clear to young people, who are so devastatingly hurt when those images get passed around.  It also recommends that parents, schools, and universities educate young people on how to responsibly sext or how to handle these issues.

The problems aren't confined to one country or another. They affect many of the people who use the Internet, and it's clear that more needs to be done to protect young people from their former partners, hackers, and themselves. It's also clear that this can't all be blamed on teens deciding to take nude photographs; as the cases mentioned above show, the publication of nude images can lead to other assault. It's not up to survivors to figure this out -- it's on society as a whole.
